I started learning Tai Chi with David Bao in July 2005 because I was interested in the art form. Although in good health, I was experiencing some peri-menopausal symptoms and felt somewhat miserable. Practicing Tai Chi alleviated these symptoms and today I am a happy woman!
I had unsatisfactory cholesterol levels due to familial hypercholesterolaemia. After years of practicing Tai Chi, my high-density lipoprotein (HDL) levels are good and triglycerides is at its lowest level ever. Tai Chi has also improved my bone density levels – from poor to strong. All achieved without medication!
Learning Tai Chi with David Bao has been an enjoyable journey because of his vast knowledge of the various styles and traditions of Chinese martial arts. He is a fun teacher and I am so proud to be his student.
