12 students represented Hua Ying Wushu and Tai Chi Academy in this year’s 4th Malaysia International Wushu Tournament. The event from 4-5 August was held at Stadium Titiwangsa in Kuala Lumpur. More than 600 athletes from various countries like Singapore, China, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Canada and India participated in different Wushu categories ranging from Tai Chi to Sanda (Sparring).
The team brought back a total of 25 medals – 12 Gold, 9 Silver and 4 Bronze. We are very proud of everyone’s achievements especially since it is the first competition experience for our Wushu boys and a couple of our Tai Chi students. Well done, everyone!!
