David Bao is a professional Tai Chi and Wushu instructor (6th Duan Wei). Born in 1977 in the Henan province in China, David inherited his martial arts skills from his ancestors from the Shaolin Temple under the strict guidance of his father.
Being the 7th generation descendant of the Shaolin Temple martial arts lineage, he started learning martial arts from the age of 4 and picked up Tai Chi when he was 16 years old. He trained under many masters. Among them are the famous Wang Er Ping (China’s national Wushu and Tai Chi team coach), Grandmaster Fu Sheng Yuan (a world renowned authority on Yang-style Tai Chi) and Grandmaster Li YuJiao (11th generation direct-line successor of Chen-style Tai Chi).
Since 2000, former 2006 World Tai Chi champion David has made Malaysia his home. With more than 25 years of teaching experience, he is passionate about his work because of the amazing results he has seen in his students.
Since 2010, Li Yen has been practicing Tai Chi at Hua Ying Wushu and Tai Chi Academy. She picked up Yang-style Tai Chi first and then proceeded to master the more vigorous, faster-paced Chen-style Tai Chi under the guidance of Master David Bao.
She has incorporated regular Tai Chi practice in her life as an effective way to maintain optimum health. Having benefitted from this amazing exercise, she is passionate to share it with others.
Besides being a Tai Chi Instructor, Li Yen is a registered pharmacist and conducts Phytobiophysics consultations. She is experienced in conducting corporate training on holistic health such as meditation, alternative therapies and emotional balance.
Koon San has been training with David Bao (Yang style and Chen style Tai Chi) since 2011. Apart from being an ardent Tai Chi practitioner, he would like to share his love of Tai Chi with others.
In 2017, he started teaching Yang style Tai Chi during the weekend. He has a full time career as a Chief Operating Officer in a public listed company.
Wei Hoong has been studying and practising Tai Chi since 2009.
He has discovered Tai Chi to be both a wonderful serene form of exercise to reduce stress, and intense as a complete healthy workout.
Wei Hoong looks forward to share with others the benefits that can be gained from Tai Chi – in mental and physical health.
He has competed at local and regional level events, to gain knowledge and gauge his own progress.
Theresa has been practising Tai Chi since 2009, and teaching since 2015.
Having found her passion in her Tai Chi practice, Theresa teaches to share and discover more of the intricacies and benefits from the regular practice, as part of her own advancement and journey.
She is experienced in teaching regular and corporate classes.
Theresa has attended training and workshops conducted by various Tai Chi masters/grandmaster, and competed at local and regional level events.
